Looking for RW300

Really hard to find RW300/RW400 for a decent price. Anybody like to sell theirs or know a good online store that ship internationally?

Re: Looking for RW300

Based on what you said in your other post it appears that you are interested in extracting the iclass authentication and encryption keys. If you are "just" trying to extract the keys then you can use any older Rev A iclass reader (e.g. R40 RevA) . Using the debug port method to extract the keys from the PIC PIC18F452 RAM does not require a Read/Write version reader.  The only advantage to having an RW300 or RW400 is so that you can use its card writing capabilities in lieu of using an OmniKey reader/writer. The RW models can be used to read/write/modify credentials using the RS-232 serial port on the reader. However, to be able to write an iclass card you need to have both the keys "AND" some custom software that communicates with the reader using the commands that are documented in the HID iClass Serial protocol document.

Re: Looking for RW300

Thank you Carl55. So basically I a ICLASS R40 READ ONLY CONTACTLESS - 6120 ($57) and an Omnikey 6321CLi Reader - R63210003-1 ($40) from Amazon would do the trick? I have moderate programming skills and less so when it comes to hardware, but I love learning so I think I could handle although I probably be asking for help later on this forum.  Also, the RS232 serial port is located on the back and under the plastic enclosure of the reader? I have access to a few R10 and R15 readers in my apartment building that I could rip off the wall, penetrate and glue back to the wall, but it would be unethical to break any plastic enclosure.

One last question, I know where to get the TTL-232R-5V-WE but where can I find the 6 pin connector/reader?

Re: Looking for RW300

Furthermore, could the Proxmark3 which I already own be capable of writing iclass cards, or will it be way more advanced to implement compared to doing the same with an Omnikey?

Re: Looking for RW300

The proxmark does not contain the required routines and algorithms to be able to read and write iclass cards.
Only a HID product (e.g. OmniKey, RWxxx iclass reader) has enough knowledge of the iClass communication protocol to be able to read and write iClass Cards.

Regarding your other comment above about an R40 ....
If you purchase an R40 reader on Amazon you will likely receive the newest revision reader (e.g. Rev C). That reader will NOT work for that particular key extraction hack. You need to have an older "Revision A" reader.

Send me an email and we can discuss your options in more detail.  ( info at proxclone dot com )

Re: Looking for RW300

i have some old Rev A readers that I will probably never need. If you pay for the shipment fee I will send you one.
