I recently heard a rumor that one of the most widely recognized access control vendors is currently working on a new product that uses the MicroChip "BodyCom" technology shown here.

It looks interesting but I suspect that it too has its own set of vulnerabilities. I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to play with the development kit?

I have the development kit but it is still in its box. I suspect it will remain there for a while.

I can only say that it is a large U.S. company.
The person that gave me this information is working under a NDA and I do not want to get him in trouble.
I suspect it will be made public by the end of this year.
