I had the board working with a windows XP machine for about a week - was just scanning cards only
Then while I was using it I received an error - USB device not recognized, one of your devices has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.
Does this mean the board is now no good ?
Can it be flashed some other way?

After plugging in the Proxmark, you have to wait a little bit before you can start the client.
Otherwise you will get this error as the Proxmark has not yet been detected by windows

Thank you for the reply.
I can wait a long time and it still does not work
Also, when I first plug in the board the LEDs dot not quickly flash like they used to.

Does anything appear in the device manager when you attach the PM3? If you can't find the PM3 then have a look under Human Interface Devices (Follow steps 5-9 in Proxmark III - Windows XP SP3 GSG v1.pdf)
If you can't find the PM3 at all then you might want to consider re-loading the firmware using the Olimex ARM-USB-OCD JTAG dongle or the Segger J-Link

Yes, device manage shows the device, but when you plug in the board to the usb port Windows gives an error - "USB device Not Recognized"
Can I re-load the firmware with a windows XP machine?
Is the jtag dongle available through the proxmark store?
