Hi All,
Currently I have a ProxmarkIII, high frequency antenna, and Mifare Ultralight 64 bytes NFC tags.
To be exact:
proxmark3> hf 14a reader
ATQA : 44 00
UID : 04 bb bd 92 49 21 80 00 e8 99 ec a8
SAK : 00 [2]
SAK : NXP MIFARE Ultralight | Ultralight C
proprietary non-iso14443a card found, RATS not supported
1) How do I find the key of my tag? When I run the "hf mf mifare" all I get is repeating "...". I have let it run for about 2 hours. Should I expect more?
2) Should I just go buy some Mifare Classic 1k? That seems to be what you guys all use and they dont seem expensive.
3) Why do I need a key? How is it that my galaxy nexus can read the tag? It doesnt seem to need the key.
P.S. The ubuntu manual fails to mention the step about running "sudo make". Seems kinda important haha. Also in step one of "Testing the Proxmark" in the same document it says “sudo ./client/proxmark3.exe” which obviously should say "sudo ./client/proxmark3"
Thanks for the help!
Mike

AFAIK you don't need any key for this card.
PS: sorry, I'm noob too and can make a mistake
