Hi there,
a simple question regarding writing to legic cards. Why is it not possible to write to the first 6 bytes on every card? Is there a kind of real hardware protection, like some blown fuses on the chip, which make the first 6 byte read-only? Or is there just another layer of obfuscation, like strange timing issues during the write protocol steps.
Another question of mine, are there any positive experiences out there with the simulation-code in the latest rev? How to use that? Standing with your laptop and pm3 connected in front of your favorite reader in the headquarter lobby of your company ;-)
