dddpw - hacking my building's access control system
Intro: I'm a French engineer with practice of embedded systems. I obtained a Proxmark3 RDV(2), compiled and running the RRG repo under mint 19.2 (emulated on Virtualbox) with minimal trouble.
For the fun of it I tried to duplicate on a magic Chinese card the (sort of Mifare Classic) badge that let me enter my building.
The good news is that the copy worked on the internal door.
The bad news are that the original stopped working on that door (I now know why, and a fix); and that the copy never worked on the external door.
I'd like to start a thread describing my experience, and asking for clues on number of things that I do not understand, yet.
