Hi I have a unknown hf tag. I've tried hf search and get nothing. I do have the reader for the tags. I have tried everything I have found on these forums and get nothing from the tag including hf 14a snoop. The only thing I have that will pick something up is when I do hf snoop. The proxmark immediately picks it up when I put the antenna between the reader and the tag.
My guess is the tag has a wake up password or something like that. I have two different traces, I think I have the raw data correctly. This is what I do
proxmark3> hf snoop 10000
#db# Skipping first 10000 sample pairs, Skipping 0 triggers.
#db# Buffer cleared (40000 bytes)
#db# Trigger kicked! Value: 255, Dumping Samples Hispeed now.
#db# HF Snoop end
proxmark3> data sample 10000
Reading 10000 bytes from device memory
Am I doing the snoop correctly and sampling the data correctly?
proxmark3> hw ver

Ok so I have figured out what kind of card it is. It's a confidex brand. This one to be exact
http://confidex.net/products/smart-iden … -non-metal
In the spec sheets it says its a 14a. Any ideas on how to read it?

should be read normally with your hf antenna and a standard hf 14a reader command. how is your antenna and have you tried multiple positions of the tag on the antenna (usually about 1-2 cm above the antenna is best)
