Using emutag and NTAG213
Ok, so to play more Ive picked up an emutag and the SDK allows for the creation of emulating anything that can fit into the RAM - So it emulates an Ultralight out of the box, but it does have enough RAM to emulate a NTAG213, a NTAG215 likely would just miss fitting.
They SDK documentation is pretty poor, but that makes sense - They cant explain how to create every tag, that's not their business.
The important note of this, of course, is the ability to change Block 0 - Theres a switch for that.
So - My question, anyone looked into the SDK for this yet? Its all C, so I started to and it shouldn't be the end of the world to port what Ice and Others have created for the SIM code to the tag. In the meantime, I'll start looking at more in depth now - Ive looked at many avenues to Simulate, Arduino with a PN532 is on the list too, but that may have issues. Then theres using an ACR122 and libnfc or other tools, but I know that could run into timing issues - so for sanity sake, I think the emutag is a great solution to start with, assuming I can get the code to run

the SDK looks quite simple, there is the commands it understands. You would need to add the missing ones for NTAG213 and their implementation.

Iceman - yep that's what I started to do, its missing a few commands like 0x60 to start, and others ....
Marshmellow - I have been for some playing, but I only have ONE Proxmark and 2 would be ideal for some testing - and to sim a 213 I have antenna placement issues so its not stable - although I haven't tried it since I took apart the portal

your antenna / "hf 14a sim t 7" problems shouldn't be related. Do you have an older PM3 model?
The "hf mf sim" is something I've been having problems with too, thats why I use the "hf 14a sim" instead.

Newest model actually - I think they call it a V2? Its about 2 months old. I was using the 14a sim, but like you've mentioned - its about finding the perfect height and in the hotel I have limits to what I have access to ....

Did anyone actually follow through with getting the emutag to emulate an NTAG213. I have a project that uses NTAG213 and I would like to use the emutag to test and run different scenarios.

nop, not since a Pm3 can simulate a ntag213 I see no usage of buying dedicated hardware.
