HI guys,
Have any of you seen a proxmark v2 act buggy with intermittent writes?
it reads fine and sim works.
i get very intermittent writes to the t5577 cards.
sometimes a wipe works
sometimes a clone works
most of the time i get no know tags found with the t5577 tags
im running aspers 2.4 and had the same issue on the release 2.2
running this on a mac

Pm3 master v2.2, has LF issues.
Aspers 2.5 has some fixes from Marshmellow's and my fork regarding LF.
As I mention in your other thread, I suggest you try Marshmellow 's fork out. The LF part there is topnotch

Thanks Iceman!i got a fatal error trying to compile your fork on my mac. not sure what this is
In file included from proxgui.cpp:12:
./proxguiqt.h:11:10: fatal error: 'QApplication' file not found
#include <QApplication>

in 2.2 or aspers 2.4 i can't clone hid or awid tags. 'no tag found'
I was able to get the odd write to a tag but pretty intermittent.
hopefully marshmallows fork works

Sounds like you are attempting to write very small keytags and not cards. This could be part of the issue. Is this true?

Yes exactly,
Youve seen the button tag and the keyfob is a standard chinese generec t5577
SO CHECK THIS OUT.
on the PM3 v2 when you mount the Antennas like this i would get this reading from hw tune
# LF antenna: 45.10 V @ 125.00 kHz
# LF antenna: 20.35 V @ 134.00 kHz
# LF optimal: 46.20 V @ 123.71 kHz
# HF antenna: 27.51 V @ 13.56 MHz
Displaying LF tuning graph. Divisor 89 is 134khz, 95 is 125khz.
cannot do anything to these small tags. proxmark read and writes sucked.. lol
now look at setup #2
after moving the antennas like this I get these readings.
# LF antenna: 35.20 V @ 125.00 kHz
# LF antenna: 23.51 V @ 134.00 kHz
# LF optimal: 35.89 V @ 126.32 kHz
# HF antenna: 27.47 V @ 13.56 MHz
Displaying LF tuning graph. Divisor 89 is 134khz, 95 is 125khz.
now my tags read and write just fine!!
It looks like the bend in the cable will affect the voltage to the antenna.
Thanks for the tip Marshmellow!

Thanks for sharing. It is interesting that the "de-tuning" or interference of the PCB was enough to make it work on your small tags. I have yet to experiment with the new hardware antennas. I just use home made ones (different sizes for different size tags.)

So the higher the voltage the better the read?
Offline
Yes and no. I have 3 different size antennas that all have approximately the same voltage, but only the smallest works well with small tags.

Dear members, I have the same issue, can you please share the picture to have it visible.
Thank you!

For some reason apt-get pictures have been deleted from server.
The alternative is you take picture of your own, post here we can say you could change the assembly

Thanks for the reply. I haven't assembled the anntennas. They're connected but not assembled on the board.
How should I do it properly to reach the desired signal? examples can be found here

the last one, where underneath the pic the words stand ""Don’t forget to connect the antenna cable"

thank you for the reply, indeed it works!
