HID Inner Range

Dear community,

I am interested in learning how to clone a tag for a building equipped with Inner Range readers by HID.
I have access to key only for a limited time during the week. However, I can have to a reader every day!

I tried lf search, but it gives only 00000000 indala.

What else can I try to read and possibly write such tags?

Thank you!

In this card used additional final XOR 0x0F (4 bit) for checksum.

Re: HID Inner Range

@limitedd could you save and post a trace file (data save xxxx.pm3) or at least a plot window screenshot.

Re: HID Inner Range

looks like nothing.  3 possibilities.

1. antenna is not connected or bad or tag is not on it
2. card is not LF
3. card is waiting for a wakeup cmd.

what is the antenna voltage?
does it drop with a tag vs without?

did you try hf?

Re: HID Inner Range

with tag/without tag

# LF antenna: 10.34 V @   125.00 kHz
# LF antenna: 14.23 V @   134.00 kHz
# LF optimal: 40.28 V @   148.15 kHz
# HF antenna:  0.71 V @    13.56 MHz
# Your HF antenna is unusable.
proxmark3> hw tune
#db# Measuring antenna characteristics, please wait...
#db# Measuring complete, sending report back to host

# LF antenna: 10.34 V @   125.00 kHz
# LF antenna: 14.23 V @   134.00 kHz
# LF optimal: 40.28 V @   146.34 kHz
# HF antenna:  0.42 V @    13.56 MHz
# Your HF antenna is unusable.

What is hf?

#db# 13535 mV
#db# 13470 mV
#db# 13051 mV

Re: HID Inner Range

connect you high freq (HF) antenna,   make a hw tune with/without tag.

If your last post was using a hf,  then try  "hf 14a read"   or  "hf search"
