New Proxmark

Hi,
I'm new on the "proxmark" world.
Can anyone tell me if i have the last firmware/software installed?

proxmark3> hw version
#db# Prox/RFID mark3 RFID instrument
#db# bootrom: svn 0 2014-04-01 12:12:24
#db# os: svn 0 2014-04-01 12:12:24
#db# FPGA image built on 2014/03/24 at 21:54:44
uC: AT91SAM7S256 Rev A
Embedded Processor: ARM7TDMI
Nonvolatile Program Memory Size: 256K bytes
Second Nonvolatile Program Memory Size: None
Internal SRAM Size: 256K bytes
Architecture Identifier: AT91SAM7Sxx Series
Nonvolatile Program Memory Type: Embedded Flash Memory

I'm having a problem while sniffing, snooping, and listing the captures of both. The sniff/snoop 14a works because some output appears on the screen, but when I try to execute "hf list 14a", the dump is empty.
Any thoughts?

Thanks to everyone in advice.

Re: New Proxmark

Not the absolute latest, but close enough.

usually I find the "hf 14a snoop" better at it than "hf mf sniff".  and having the antenna on the right spot... plenty of trial and error

Thanks Iceman! big_smile

I asked about the firmware because a sniffing problem as i mentioned before.
When I snoop a mifare classic card the snoop is correct, but the list of the dump is empty.

I'm running under debian. Now im trying to compile the software manually for windows to compare the results (Not an easy task).

Re: New Proxmark

Why dont you use Asper's pre-compiled binary distros for windows?

Looking at your version, its not a problem with your "snoop" command.  ..  You might need to add the "c r" parameter..
and my number one mistake is to have the tag on the antenna before I run the command...    the snoop is detecting fieldchanges, so you need to bring tag near your reader (and snooping antenna)..  then usually you see some responses on the screen,   then you can break the command by pushing the button..  (hm, im writting this from memory, so it could be wrong)

Re: New Proxmark

Thanks Iceman for your reply. As I posted here: http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2442 my big problem were the USB ports -_-
I made a specific thread with that information just in case anyone is having the same problem!

Thanks again
