Trying to flash a new PM3. I assumed I needed to use an older flasher (I started with -r 672).
When flashing, yields: Waiting for Proxmark to appear on USB ... [infinite ...]
Being unable to find out what hw version is on the PM3, I decided to try a newer flasher which yields a similar response:
Waiting for Proxmark to appear on /dev/ttyACM0 ... [infinite ...]

Currently running on an Ubuntu 14.04 VM (on a Mac).
Has anyone else ran into this eternal "Waiting for Proxmark" issue?
Thanks all.

Fixed.
Deleted devkitARM and did Getting Started over again (https://code.google.com/p/proxmark3/wiki/Linux). I must have missed a step... twice. This was my 4th time doing it three different OS's (2x Linux, MacOS, Windows 8).
