Hobbyist Proxmark User
Hi everyone.
My name is cosmic and I'm just a backend software developer who happened to get his hands on a proxmark through a friend who bought it and couldn't figure out how to use it.
I've worked with hardware and C in the past and even though I understand how to do the basic cloning and replaying functionality of the proxmark, I'm here to learn some of the more advanced bits.
Some of the things I want to learn more about are
- password protecting my HID fob
- Writing custom standalone modes for proxmark
- determining how cards may interfere with each other through the use of the graph tool
Simple stuff like that really. Maybe even hiding messages in the higher bits of my HID fob. I noticed the one that was given in my strata only uses the first three (blocks? pages? bytes?). Not sure what I'm really looking at yet.
Hope to learn and contribute a lot here!
