"hf 15 reader" random behavior

Hi everyone,

I am reading HID piccolino tags (Vigo chip, ISO 15693 compliant) with a small homemade antenna giving about 16 V.

Without changing the position of the antenna or the tag, sometimes I read nothing for a while. I have found that after executing some other commands (hf 15 search, hf 15 read, etc...) randomly and for several times, suddenly the command reads correctly again the chip ID.

Since physical conditions do not change at all, I have the impression that this is a software problem.

Any ideas or advice?

Are you using the latest source from Github?
I know that the 'hf 15' has been dodgy but the 'hf 15 cmd' subcommands is better
