Is there a way to start LF search running until a card comes into range. In particular I have a AWID card I want to scan with LF search once the card comes into range without having to type lf search and enter once the antenna is near. Sort of like making the proxmark a door scanner.
Like what HID FSK DEMODULATE does but for AWID.

look into the standalone modes on the deviceside.. (samy-mode)

or set the threshold in lf config high so it doesn't start recording until valid samples appear.

Wow. Thanks. Never noticed that feature before. Works like a charm. Set it to 40 and it worked perfectly. Thanks again!

really interest in that threshold config mod. Where did you go to set that? thanks !

ok i found it.
lf config H t 40
wow such a nice feature.

@lama, I assume you intended to set your lf read to 134kHz with a threshold of 40?
in case what i said was confusing:
when i said set the threshold in lf config (to something) high so that it doesn't start recording... I didn't mean set it to high frequency...
and thanks goes to holiman for building the lf config with it's options. that particular one didn't get much attention here in the forum.

ok so the command should be just: lf config t 40 ?
It's not that you are confusing but I'm fairly new to the proxmark. My mistake. In fact it was for 125khz tag. So with your post I understand that with `lf config H t 40` the H means High frequency (134khz)? Is that correct? When I tested it, it was working with the lf config H t 40 and I get 40 second of reading with lf search with success.
Thanks for your clarification.

just
lf config t 40
would change your config to use a threshold
adding a L would force 125kHz (in case you were set on high previously)
Offline
you can also do
lf config h
for help on the command
