I wasn't able to read legic cards with the Antenna my Proxmark3 came with. So i build my own according to this guide http://code.google.com/p/proxmark3/wiki/Antennas and the new antenna has around 14V so now i can succesfully read legic-cards:
#db# setting up legic card
#db# MIM 1024 card found, reading card ...
#db# Card read, use 'hf legic decode' or
#db# 'data hexsamples 1024' to view results
But when i try to open a door with the proxmark simulating the card i get this error message:
#db# Starting Legic emulator, press button to end
#db# Unexpected: sz:7, Data:049, State:2, Count:2
#db# IV: 055
#db# Read Nb: 0, Addr: 0
#db# Read Nb: 1, Addr: 76
#db# Cycles: 9, Frame Length: 6, Time: 10184
#db# Cycles: 20, Frame Length: 11, Time: 17752
#db# Cycles: 52, Frame Length: 11, Time: 36072
Can anyone tell me what this means and if there's a solution?
(About two weeks ago we flashed the Proxmark3 with the latest versions of OS, FPGA and Bootrom.)

Could the segmentation of our legic cards be the problem?
Either way, I'd appreciate any advice

The problem can't be the segmentation. I tried it with a card with only one segment used and it still didnt work...
Any other suggestions?

Hey hey,
Hmm, not sure if I can help you out quickly. Currently I have no enabled (deployed) cards, but only empty ones. If I'm able to configure them I could maybe test around a bit. What kind of (commercial) reader are you using to challenge the (emulated) card at the moment?
Cheers,
Roel

Hey Roel,
Thanks for your reply.
The reader is called CEStronics Omega Legic (http://www.ces.eu/uploads/tx_nxscesproduct/EN_OMEGA_LEGIC.pdf).

Does anyone have any suggestion as to what the problem might be here?
@roel: I don't suppose you had the chance to test it?

A bit busy these days, I have to come back at you later with this. Sorry for the delay.

Hi,
I currently have the same issue, I had first to build by own antenna to read LEGIC Prime cards. The antenna given by proxmark3.com is not working.
The simulation is not working with the same issue given by Webster_tompkins. I'm currently using the up-to-date version (august 2012) of proxmark.
My guess is some problems with the LEGIC reader. Indeed, I successfully emulated a mifare card with a Omnikey 5321, but this card is not read by the LEGIC reader (TWN3 elatec) although real Mifare cards are read by this reader. If some of you have some advices to debug this problem...

Pacemaker
